Fantastic Five Stars For Fellingate Fellingate has maintained their 5* Food Hygiene Rating following their visit from Environmental Health. The inspector was very pleased following the visit and praised the Kitchen Team immensely.

Pancake Day from Byker Hall!  Shrove Tuesday is always fun with home made pancakes being made for our residents with various toppings to choose from!  They are delicious and so much fun to make – Happy Pancake Day from all at Byker Hall!

Our residents enjoyed delicious Valentine’s inspired sweet treats in celebration of love. We love to make our residents happy and our Home was decorated in beautiful love hearts through-out to ensure that love was in the air! Our heart-shaped homemade cake was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by our residents with a nice cup of tea.

Wardley Gate’s Garden Transformation Has Officially Begun! Our partnership with HenPower and Equal Arts has created so many fulfilling activities for our residents as well as involving our local primary school children. As part of our Animal Assisted Therapy programme, we introduced 4 lovely cuddly new residents to Byker Hall Care Home, in Newcastle. We received this very touching letter this week about our care home, Wardley Gate where we provide residential care for older people. The letter is from the daughter of one of our residents, who sadly passed away in July. Well done to all the staff at Wardley Gate, and we thank Maureen for her kind words. 4th September

Making the most of the sunshine. For the first time this week residents of our home for older persons, Byker Hall Care Home in Newcastle, were able to enjoy the sunshine on a brand new, purpose built sun terrace. Proving that the sun does shine occassionally in Newcastle! everyone, staff and residents alike, were really happy.
